On every page I have seen on the Internet so far, everybody praises the VFR750 and I agree. By comparison to the CBR1000F, it is 40kg lighter, but the feeling when pushing it around is much lighter.
CBR's suspensions were very soft; before a corner, I had to brake the motor until the last meter in order to catch some feeling of the corner. Because of that I had to knee-grip the tank until the last meter, and offset my body after this. Calculating braking distances after bike's speed, then braking and doing the necessary foot and bodywork may be simple for a racing guy endowed with a good reflex speed, but not for an average guy like me.
In comparison with the CBR1000, at the same speeds the VFR does not even need braking, it just goes where I bank it. By doing the same things I was obliged to do on the CBR I can run probably 20kmph faster. It's almost perfect.
